Part 2 Backgrounds

Hello Faithful Followers!

I want to continue talking about backgrounds. I have been experimenting with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks. They are a lot of fun. They come out different on different types of paper. I have used cardstock, as well as watercolor paper and also Yupa paper.

Here are some of the different looks, along with the different inks used:

Alcohol ink sprays & Mixatives, which give a metallic look
Distress Inks

These tools are used by adding inks and spreading the color on paper.
Distress Oxide inks

Alcohol and water adds spots or removes color

Distress Sprays were used on this paper
I used a sponge applicator with the above picture with Alcohol ink

Mixatives were used on the above pictures, adding a metallic affect.

Rubbing Alcohol was dripped onto this alcohol ink

I think that it's fun to experiment with backgrounds and different inks.

Have a great day!

Hugs!
Debbie
